Vinayaka Missions Annapoorana College of Nursing

Vinayaka Missions Annapoorana College of Nursing was started by the Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust, Salem. It was founded in the year 1991 and recognised by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council. VMACON was previously affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and at present time it is a constituent unit of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation, Salem. It is situated in Salem, Tamil Nadu with the objective to prepare nursing students with professional skills for providing effective healthcare services in the nation.

Mission: To graduate individuals with international standards and advanced scientific skills for the upliftment of the society.

Vision: The aim of the college is to prepare students with proficiency to practice nursing at national and international level and deliver quality services.

From this nursing college, students can obtain undergraduate and postgraduate degrees which include:

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (Nursing)
• Master of Science (M.Sc) (Nursing)
