R P SARATHY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Srimathi Mahalakshmi Ammal Educational Trust laid the foundation of R P Sarathy Institute of Technology (formerly known as Narasu's Sarathy Institute of Technology) in 2008 in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The institute is NAAC-accredited, AICTE-approved, and affiliated with Anna University.

The main purpose of the college is to combine education with ethical values in order to educate students who can contribute to the development of the nation. The institute’s mission is to train students to make them technically competent and ethically strong to meet the ever-changing challenges of the corporate environment.

Students can pursue the following courses from the institute:

• BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering
• B.Tech in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
• ME in Computer Science & Engineering and VLSI Design

The eligibility criteria for admission to UG and PG courses offered by R P Sarathy Institute of Technology are based on the regulations set by Anna University. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

• HSC (Academic) passed with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for Reserved Category) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

OR

• HSC (Vocational) passed with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for Reserved Category) with any of the Engineering subjects namely Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Students at RPSIT are offered Merit Scholarship based on their academic and overall performance which encourages them to score better in the future.
