DG Vaishnav College (also known as Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College) [DGVC], Chennai was established in the year 1964 as a Private (Autonomous) Educational Institution, currently having 91st position in NIRF Ranking 2025. DGVC Chennai is approved by AICTE and UGC, accredited by NAAC-A++ and NBA, and is affiliated with Madras University, Chennai. Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, commonly known as DDGDVC was established in the year 1964 by the Rajasthanis and Gujaratis settled in Chennai. This college is a linguistic minority college affiliated with the University of Madras. The college is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), and accredited by NAAC and offers admission to multiple UG, PG, and Ph.D programs in the field of Arts, Management, Science, and Commerce. These programs are available in two different shifts i.e., Shift I and Shift II. In shift I, the college offers aided programs during the day, and in shift II, the college functions in the evening time and offers self-financing courses.
